previous next
Buckfast is a tonic wine made by the monks of Buckfast Abbey in Devon. Originally created to a French recipe, it was modified in the 1920s to have a smoother, less medicinal taste. Today it is most commonly consumed in Scotland, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
