A curry is a dish of distinctively-spiced meat, fish or vegetables etc. served in a sauce typically flavoured with spices and turmeric. Originating in Indian cuisine, it is common in cuisine throughout the entire Asia-Pacific area and was introduced to the West in the 18th century.
