Milk is the white opaque fluid secreted by mammals for the nourishment of their young. Cow's milk is the most commonly used for drinking, and in cooking and baking, but milk from goats, sheep and buffalo is also available.

Milk Street was where cows were kept for milking in medieval London, and dates from about 1140.
